This 2015 Australian Gold Kangaroo coin was produced by the prestigious Perth Mint of Australia as the most recent addition to its exclusive Australian Gold Kangaroo coin series. Since 1987, this stunning collection has been captivating collectors and investors with its lifelike portrayal of Australia’s most iconic marsupial. As with other coins in the series, the 2015 kangaroo coin has been minted from 1/2 troy oz. of the 99.99% pure gold, giving it an impressive face value of $50 AUD.

The Gold Kangaroo coin was introduced in 1986 as a .9999 fine bullion coin and the designs have changed since 1989 with various versions of the kangaroo.
